Birthday Card Challenge #1

Hey Cricutjunkies, 

I make a lot of Birthday Cards and trying to come up with something creative, unique and quick can sometimes be a challenge. I figured since I am trying to use my 6x6 paper pads, so I can justify buying more... I will challenge my card making creativity by just using images from pattern paper for the next 30 days. This is what I came up with. 

The image looks like I stamped it but it is from My Minds Eye Blush 6x6 paper pad. The stamp and die set are from Stamps of life. I added a little ribbon and bling and I was done. It took me longer to make the envelope with the MS score board.  Stay Tuned For The Next Card. Hope you enjoy and don't forget to PIN IT.

I love the fall colors and it was really quick to make.

Guest Designer

I wanted to share some exciting news!!

I am being featured as a Guest Designer at Irongatestamps.  I am really impressed with how crisp my embossed image came out. The stamps are a really nice quality.  My inspiration for this card was the mustache on the stamp set (see below) I thought it would be fitting for a Manly Birthday card. Birthday Card SOS #89

Hi Cricutjunkies,

Here is a really cute and simple Cricutless Birthday card. I saw something similar in a Stampin Up catalog and decided to make my rendition. Of course my card looks nothing like the catalog but it still came out cute and it was very quick and easy. I am entering this card in the Shopping Our Stash challenge #89. Create something with a birthday theme. This card is perfect because everything I used is from My Stash.

I used the MS scallop square punch an exacto knife and a small circle punch to cut the squares. I stamped various birthday themed images in the squares and used color pencils to color them in.

 

The card is a A2 size card that I cut down and added several scallop borders.

I then added some ribbon, flowers and a few pearls.

Hope you are having a Great 4th of July. 

Here is a really cute and easy "Thank U Card" made from my stash of  Paper Stacks. This is a great way to use your paper stacks especially if they have great floral or patterned images.  I used craft card stock for the card, ribbon from my stash, a few pearls and a glitter pen. Hope you are inspired!

I outlined the flower and the sentiment with a Sakura glitter pen

Throwback Thursday Cricutless Challenge #128

Hello Cricutjunkies,
I am entering Emma's challenge to create a thank u card without the Cricut or the Gypsy. (I still don't have a Gypsy) coming soon. I love making envelope cards because it is easy to adjust the size. Although each card I make the size comes out different (go figure) Hope you enjoy.

My First Stampin Up SWAP

I recently started using Stampin Up products and instantly fell in love, then my Stampin Up representative introduced me to a SWAP and I fell in love again.  The SWAP was to make 6 birthday cards of the same design then you swap with other ladies. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the swap but I did drop off my cards and in return received 6 really nice ones. I love this idea... I wanted to thank the ladies and my Stampin Up rep "Janice Klaus" for the great cards.
